Natasha Shneider died this morning. I'm completely, painfully shocked and don't know what to say. Although I only knew of her through her involvement with QOTSA and the brief roles I gave to a characterization of her in whatever small fics I wrote, this is a huge loss and it's hitting me really, really hard.

This is sickening, and heartbreaking, and really really shocking. Music is one of the two most important things in my life, and to lose a piece of that hurts more than I can describe.

Rest happy, Natasha. Wherever you are, at least you no longer have to worry about Josh making you go deaf on tour.

In less hateful news, Mary and I caught the music video for the Maroon 5/Rhianna song tonight. Now, being ridiculous in my music taste I ADORE Maroon 5, and have a huge hardon for Rhianna.

But interestingly enough, in addition to the song being a great, this is one of the fucking sexiest things I've ever seen. Possibly because Unconvincing Daddy Pimp (aka Adam Levine) looks like he's about to smack her in the face and throw her down. And that, despite popular opinion? Is hawt.



We're moving the cable and stuff tomorrow, and won;t be back on until the 31st. Love ya, be good!

- Buy moving essentials. Crates of soda and gatorade, donuts, and mixed nuts. Mmmm.

So pretty much all Mary and I watch these days is Discovery Channel. Why? Cos Deadliest Catch. That's why. Also Mythbusters, Cash Cab Smash Lab and Bear Grylls. And Dirty Jobs. But anyway.

Discovery is running this new ad. It's called the I Love The World ad. And it's AMAZING. It makes me want to save the entire world, and I've never quite loved the world as much as I do when I see this ad.

In other news, I think my defunct reproductive system is fucking with my hormone levels, as I am currently so OUT OF CONTROL ANGRY. I want to physically break something. Anything, or anyone. Gah, so angry! I think I'm going to try and channel it into some writing.

So QotSA canceled the Atlanta gig in May. Sigh.

You know, it takes a lot to get me and Mary out of the house. Fuck, it takes a lot to get us out of the state. I was really looking forward to seeing the boys, seeing Atlanta, and seeing people that think like I do. And now I can't.

There's something effed up with my browser window. It only affects Gmail and Lj. My gmail window has completely shrunk to a tiny box in the top left corner of my browser, and my friends page is near unreadable. The text has moved completely to the left of the page. It's not affecting any other sites, and both gmail and lj work fine in explorer.
